Meet our Yoga Instructor – Mary Fran Weber, PT, DPT

Mary Fran WeberAfter getting her transitional Doctorate in Physical Therapy, Mary Fran tried to show a clinical relationship between posture and balance. In her quest to find perfect posture exercises, Mary Fran, learned from Sarah Meeks, MS, PT. As Mary Fran completed all the courses Meeks had to offer, she began yoga teacher training in a shift towards health and wellness to reach more people and provide Sarah Meeks’ S.A.F.E. (Skeletally Appropriate For Everyone) program for posture and core strength.

Once Mary Fran completed her 200-hour certification for Registered Yoga Therapist, RYT-200 in 2017, she was still in search of the objective and scientific framework for yoga. Between 2018 and 2019 Mary Fran completed coursework on Medical Therapeutic Yoga through Ginger Garner, PT, DPT, ACT/L through the biopsychosocial framework.

Mary Fran is passionate about wellness, integrating her physical therapy background in alignment and yogic breathwork to access core strengthening. Mary Fran is prepared to accommodate those on the mat or in a chair.
